Crank My Yarn

Knitters with too much yarn and not enough time we are officially here for you! 

We now offer sock cranking services! 

Here’s how it works. You order, send us your yarn (locals can arrange pick up or drop off!) then we crank your yarn to your specifications.

We crank all our sock tubes at 8 sts per inch on our Gearhart Circular Sock Machine. They are currently available in 64 stitch and 72 stitch circumferences. We will be adding more sizes as we are able to order more cylinders. 64 stitches is commonly used for both male and female socks while 72 stitch is commonly used for males and wider then average feet. 

You can choose to have your yarn cranked into a tube so you can add in afterthought heels and toes where ever you want or you can choose to have them cranked into finished socks. If you choose to have them cranked into finished socks then I will contact you after ordering to get a list of sizes.

Price is per skein of sock yarn.
